Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Magical Resume (“we”, “us”). By using Magical Resume you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Magical Resume helps you tailor your resume to a job. You upload a resume, paste a job description, and receive a match report and a tailored version of your resume that you can edit and download. The service reorders, selects and rephrases what is in your resume. It is a writing tool. It is not career, legal or immigration advice, and we do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any particular result from an employer or an applicant tracking system.

2. Your account

You need an account to use most of the service, and you sign in with Google. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into this agreement. Keep your sign-in secure: you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account is for one person.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to break the law or to deceive or harm others;
  • upload content you have no right to use, including another person's resume without their permission;
  • upload malware, or try to break, overload, probe or get around the security or the usage limits of the service;
  • access the service with scripts, scrapers or other automated means, except through interfaces we provide for that purpose;
  • resell the service or share your account with other people;
  • use the service or its output to build a competing product or to train AI models.

4. Your content, and your responsibility for it

Your resumes, job descriptions and tailored versions are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the truthfulness of your resume. The service is built not to add facts you did not give it, and it asks you when it needs one. The answers you give, and everything in the resume you send to an employer, are your statements. Do not confirm a skill, a number or a title that is not true.

5. AI output

Match reports and tailored versions are produced by an AI model. AI output can contain errors, omissions or wording you would not choose. Review every tailored version before you use it. You decide what goes on your resume and you are responsible for the version you send.

6. Plans, passes and refunds

  • Free. The free plan includes a limited number of tailored applications, shown on the pricing page.
  • One-time purchase. A single-download purchase applies only to the selected resume and does not renew. Any previously purchased time-based pass remains valid for its original term.
  • Monthly plan. The monthly plan renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Downloads. Each account includes one free download, shared across PDF and Word. A SAR 29.99 one-time purchase provides one download of the selected resume. The SAR 59.99 monthly subscription provides unlimited resume downloads while active. Failed file generation does not consume a free or purchased download.
  • Refunds. If you bought a pass and have not used it to tailor any application, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase by writing to support@mg.www.magicalresume.com. This does not limit any right to a refund or to withdraw that you have under the consumer law of your country.
  • Prices and taxes. Prices are shown on the pricing page. Taxes may be added at checkout where they apply. If we change the price of the monthly plan, we will tell you before your next renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe.

7. Fair use

“Unlimited” means unlimited for one person's own job search. To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone we apply technical rate limits, and we may slow down, limit or suspend accounts whose use is automated, shared between people, or far beyond what an individual job search needs. If that happens to you by mistake, write to us and we will sort it out.

8. Changes and availability

We work on the service all the time, so features may be added, changed or removed. We try to keep the service available but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Features described as planned or “on the way” are not part of what you are buying until they are released.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we close your account for another reason while you have a paid pass or plan, we will refund the unused part. What happens to your data after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Our intellectual property

The service, its software and its design belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not give you any rights in our software or brand.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities or lost income, and our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
